Payments that connect purchase, access, and fulfillment.
A successful payment is only part of the flow. The app still needs to grant the right access, show the right state after a restart, and recover if the network or app closes at the wrong moment. I build and debug mobile monetization across native purchases and marketplace checkout, using the payment model appropriate to the product.
I handle product loading, localized prices, purchase and restore flows, transaction updates, and access checks for one-time unlocks, credit packs, and subscriptions. The UI needs clear pending, cancelled, failed, and completed states, with access derived from the relevant purchase evidence.
Migration and existing customers
Moving from a paid app to freemium is different from restoring an in-app purchase. I investigate legacy ownership, product changes, and cached access before replacing purchase logic. StoreKit 2 can be introduced into an older Objective-C app through a focused Swift bridge.
Checkout across app and backend
For marketplace payments, I connect Stripe PaymentSheet and Apple Pay with server-created payments, order state, and webhook recovery. I check price and address consistency, duplicate operations, and the case where payment succeeds but the app never receives confirmation.
Trace the full money-to-access path
I start with the product type, purchase setup, current entitlement or order model, and a failing example if one exists. Validation covers the affected purchase and recovery paths. Sandbox and TestFlight limitations are explicit, and any production confirmation is planned separately with you.
